Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in serving institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Morgan Stanley has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client's investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
The Equity Trade Support and Service team (ETSS) is responsible for providing direct operational and client service support across the full trade lifecycle of both equity and option orders. This role entails heavy interaction with financial advisors, MSWM trading desks, and external market centers. The ETSS Director would be responsible for managing the day-to-day support of the trade lifecycle, including order entry exception management, trade adjustments, and reconciliation.
Bachelor's Degree required
A minimum of 5 years of financial services industry experience
Series 7 or Series 99, or ability to obtain
General knowledge of financial markets and investment products, specifically equities and options
Demonstrated leadership ability and experience managing people
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a high degree of attention to detail
Ability to adapt in fast paced environment with focus on innovation and flexibility
Efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize competing urgent tasks
Team player with the ability to work effectively in a team or independently
Ability to quickly learn and apply knowledge
Demonstrated relationship building skills with stakeholders, peers, and all levels of management
