We are seeking an experienced professional to join us to help develop and deliver a world class Business Process Management (BPM) capability to the Wells Fargo PVSI group. The PVSI BPM Capabilities Manager ensures BPM reporting and BPM standards are met at the group level and ensures engineers and BPM team members have the access, training, tools, and templates they need to maintain models and execute improvement engagements. The role also ensures the BPM Policy is being adhered to at the Group BPM level and ensures group factory sprint work is progressing as scheduled.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the efforts of Process Definition Librarians, Process Measurement Librarians, Process Architects, Engagement Portfolio Reporting Resources, Infrastructure Support Resources, and other Group BPM Capability team members.

  • Ensure that Group BPM team members have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to execute the duties and requirements of the policy, procedures, standards, and methodologies, and ensure appropriate BPM Resources and Levels are assigned to initiatives

  • Direct offshore modelers, librarian and QA to complete the process documentation in line with enterprise process modeling standards

  • Collaborate with offshore modelers/ sprint team

  • Act as consultant to our Business and technology partners regarding process documentation and improvement

  • Manage and maintain active sprint schedules

  • Assist the Group BPM Capabilities Leader and Process Engineering Manager to:

  • Ensure GBPM team members complete required onboarding activities and BPM Learning Levels

  • Execute Business Group and/or Enterprise Function reporting

  • Ensure proper governance is in place to uphold BPM standards according to the BPM Corporate Policy and that gaps are reported through the appropriate BPM committees for resolution

  • Ensure that the Group BPM team members align to the job roles and titles approved by HR and Compensation

  • Facilitate recruiting, hiring and onboarding of all Group BPM Capability resources

  • Build knowledge of BPM best practices through benchmarking and coordination with Enterprise BPM

  • Establish, implement and maintain a Process Governance capability with a focus on BPM sustainability and partner with the Enterprise Process Governance team

  • Performing quality checks on process inventory and related process measurements, assets/ information to ensure adherence to enterprise BPM standards, including related metadata (e.g., risk, controls, and applications)

  • Partner and support process owners to provide visibility across organizational units and to provide opportunities for rationalization, improvement or reorganization of business processes

  • Monitor and sustain aggregated dashboards of key BPM process outputs in partnership with Process Measurement team within Enterprise BPM

  • Ensure transparency to a current and comprehensive engagement portfolio for the Business Group or Enterprise Function and provide required metrics and data for company-wide reporting, including reviewing efforts for synergistic opportunities involving BPM resources and process changes

  • Implement procedures that enable oversight and testing teams to perform validation activities to ensure compliance with the BPM policy, standards, and methodology at the Group BPM level

  • Ensure compliance with BPM and Risk Management policies, standards and methods across the Group BPM, and facilitating and implementing reporting, tracking, and escalation procedures at the Group BPM level

  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning
  • 3+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Advanced facilitation skills

  • Financial services industry experience

  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment

  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

  • Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills

  • Experience managing BPM Suites such as iGrafx, ARIS, Mega, IBM Blueworks, or Pega

  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) software such as iGrafx

  • Experience in Six Sigma, Lean and/or Project Management

  • Familiar with Process Architecture in a large Financial organization

  • Familiar with Agile tools like JIRA, CA Rally

  • Experience in Business Process Management practices

  • Understanding of reference architecture / taxonomies (e.g. ITIL, APQC-PCF, CoBiT)

  • Experience with enterprise capabilities & processes

  • Experience in object-oriented modeling & process decomposition

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
