Canvass Lead

About the Position:

As our Billings Canvass Lead, you will help Montana Rural Voters meet our field goals by managing a team of 6 - 10 canvassers. The canvass team contacts voters directly, in person and over the phone. In addition to excelling as a canvasser, the canvass lead is responsible for leading daily team operations and onboarding new teammates. 

We are looking for a driven, friendly leader who knows how to create a caring, healthy, and hardworking team. This is very much a “people” job. As a canvass lead, you won’t be tied to a desk. You’ll meet lots of people and make change happen at the grassroots level. 

Specific Responsibilities

• Direct voter contact
• Manage a team of 6 - 10 canvassers
• Lead daily team operations
• Onboard new teammates
• Support canvasser training and coaching
