This position may be based anywhere in California.
Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Visit and build relationships with the existing customers and prospective customers
Network and support the existing customers with available programs
Achieve annual sales volume and net income growth for the region
Provide superior customer service, integrity, and trust
Provide service flexibility and understanding of the customer's business and unique requirements
Assure the new accounts are established accurately, completely and in a timely manner
Maintain an autonomous regional office, where necessary, to effectively service the region
Write and submit annual budgets and marketing plans for the region
Collect marketing intelligence and adjust marketing and sales efforts accordingly
Build relationships with airport managers, state agencies, and industry suppliers
Keep accurate and easy to audit records pertaining to customer database and business expenses
Stay current with technical changes and continuing education when applicable
Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.
Represents company at trade association meetings to promote services.
Delivers sales presentations to key clients.
Meets with key clients, maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Coordinates liaison between sales department and other departments.
Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Aviation experience is required.
Must be able to travel 40% - 50% of the time.
