Manages the Cancer Program and Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF) system-wide Cancer Data Center Department in order to achieve quality outcomes, Commission on Cancer-American College of Surgeons (CoC-ACoS) Cancer Program approval and to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies including Florida Cancer Data System (FCDS) in conjunction with the Florida Department of Health, National Cancer Data Base (NCDB), Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and any other regulatory agencies that have jurisdiction. Scope of responsibility includes the Baptist-South Miami Regional Cancer Program, all BHSF hospital entities and all BHSF outpatient diagnostic and treatment services for which reportable data is generated.
Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Must be Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) through the NCRA.
Three years of supervisory experience required. Possess at least three years experience in developing relationships, assisting or interacting with physicians groups and product lines in a complex health care organization. Must have a vision and be able to anticipate programmatic needs and trends.
Experience managing system wide initiatives and participation and conducting system wide committee meetings. Proficiency in Microsoft office products required with ability to learn new applications as required. Skilled in written and oral presentations.
Ability to work well with physicians and multi-disciplinary groups. Minimum required experience: 3 years
