The Headlines

In the role of a Cans specialist working at the Coors Brewery in Golden Colorado you will be part of the Packging Department in Production Operations. You will be responsible for playing an important role in the packing process on the production floor. Our packaging team helps ensure we are able to efficiently and safely pack the wide array of our great products ranging in cans of all different shapes and sizes.

This position reports to our packaging process leaders and works closely with our brewing and warehouse teams.

The Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for start-ups, shut downs, product changes, line trouble shooting, problem solving, preventative maintenance, clearing jams, and cleaning & sanitation of all equipment on their assigned line.

  • Performs minor preventative and corrective maintenance (autonomous maintenance), lubricates all machinery, troubleshoots and takes appropriate action or makes necessary operational adjustments to resolve issues, ensuring that the equipment is running efficiently producing quality product.

  • Possesses the basic mechanical and technical skills to accomplish the required machine adjustments and maintenance.

  • Performs a mixture of the following duties as required: line checks of equipment, accident investigation/follow up, hazard analysis, audits, attends meetings, and other duties as assigned by the business.

  • Performs assignments safely at all times.

  • Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment

  • You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering

  • You have a high school diploma or a GED

  • You are at least 21 years of age

While the Produce Training Specialist will be provided with ongoing training to learn all aspects of Natural Grocers store operations, applicants are expected to possess a strong background in Produce Department management and operational practices. Responsibilities Key responsibilities include the following essential functions, but are not limited to: * Developing and delivering classroom and/or simulation-based instruction on the following topics:a. Produce ordering Produce receiving Produce price changes and COOL Produce rack cleaning and inventory Cashiering/Front Endf. SAP Processes (ongoing training provided if needed)c. Department Management * Traveling to Denver/Metro area stores to train Produce Managers and/or Store Management in need of additional instruction in Produce operations and best practices. * Assisting in the development/repeated creation of new store training programs and materialsa. Develop materials using a variety of formats, including classroom coursework, games, activities, manuals, etc. * Other projects or tasks as assigned Although this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be "hands on" and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive. Qualifications Education, Skills & Experience: * Minimum 6 months of NGVC store experience as a Produce Assistant, Produce Manager required * Experience in developing training materials and/or providing structured in-person training strongly preferred * Must be comfortable regularly speaking before groups ranging up to 25 students * Must be able to deliver content in an enthusiastic, engaging, and easily understandable manner * Must be highly motivated, work independently, solve problems independently, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and be willing to collaborate as a key member of the training team * Ability to work a flexible and changing schedule (though typical work schedule will be between 8am-5pm, M-F) * Proven customer service and interpersonal skills * Experience using SAP for NGVC store processes preferred * Resourceful problem solver * Intermediate proficiency working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required This job description is not an employment contract.
