DEFINITION:Under the supervision of the site administrator, the Campus Supervisor patrols school campusand immediately adjacent areas for the purpose of assisting in monitoring the following: Studentrelease policy, plant security and student detention.

The person holding this position must alsoencourage appropriate behavior and safety as well as perform related work as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Supervises, patrols and monitors the campus, restrooms and parking areas. Maintains order, security and control of the campus and parking areas.

Uses positive reinforcement strategies and other appropriate techniques to assist students inthe development of appropriate behavior and an appreciation of human diversity. Enforces school rules and regulations regarding student behavior and reports infractions tothe appropriate administrator. Uses good judgment regarding appropriate action to assist an injured or physically ill student.

Initiates disciplinary action against students when necessary, according to specific Districtrules and policies or specific instructions of the site administrator. Verifies student passes for excused absences. Monitors the perimeter of the campus to encourage students' consideration of privateproperty near the campus and to discourage non-students from loitering or entering thecampus.

Encourages a clean campus environment and discourages vandalism. Maintains a professional relationship with students and staff. Distributes messages and referrals for special instruction.

May supervise detention hall and center for special instruction Assist with bus loading and unloading of students. Perform related tasks as required.QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of: Safety rules and regulations.

Adolescent behavior. Behavior shaping and modification strategies and techniques. Rules and regulations concerning campus control, security and appropriate student behavior.

Safe control and monitoring methods and procedures. Health regulations and safe working methods and procedures. Proper lifting techniques.

District policies, rules and regulations.Ability to: Communicate effectively with students and the public. Identity campus violations, improper behavior.

Act quickly with mature judgment. Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Observe health and safety regulations.

Work cooperatively with others. Understand and follow oral and written instructions.Education/Training/ Required Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.

Valid California drivers license. One year of experience working with youths in an organized setting desirable.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by anemployee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Workingconditions may include regular exposure to fumes, dust, odors, cleaning agents and chemicals.Exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions caused by weather may also occasionallybe experienced. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distancevision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

This position assists the Department Team Leader and Associate Team Leader with all aspects of the Coffee/Juice Bar including product quality control, customer service, and team member training and development. This position will prepare you for team leadership. Essential Duties: * Ensure excellent customer service. * Create & ensure quality and freshness, consistency in quantity and quality, rotation of product. * Perform all duties and responsibilities of Bakery Team Members. * Supervise, train and mentor all Coffee Juice Bar Team Members. * Provide timely product and Team Member concerns to Team Leadership and Facility Leadership * Order all packaging, production ingredients, and vendor products. * Follow proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating and stocking product * Assist with monthly inventory of all supplies and packaging * Comply with all applicable state health and safety codes and maintain clean, sanitary work environment * Complete all spoilage, sampling, temperature and sweep logs * Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices. * Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner. * Perform all duties as assigned by Department Team Leader and Associate Team Leader Job Requirements: * Current participant or graduate in the applicable Southern Pacific Region Career Development program or equivalent from another region. * Extensive knowledge of Coffee/Juice Bar team procedures and policies. * Capable of teaching others in a constructive and positive manner. * Minimum 1 year of Bakery or Coffee bar experience or equivalent. * Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. * Ability to prioritize effectively and delegate responsibilities * Ability to operate all necessary equipment. * Strong organizational skills; basic computer skills. * Able to prioritize efficiently and delegate responsibilities. * Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department. Working Conditions: * Some reaching above and below shoulder height. * Some exposure to dust, fumes and chemicals. * Repetitive use of hands and fine manipulation. * May need to use a ladder or stool to reach product or supplies. * Exposure to continuous background and occasional loud noises. * Any item over 40 pounds requires a team lift.
