Doane University invites applications for the position of Campus Services Coordinator & Academic Advisor at its Grand Island campus that serves undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students.

The Campus Services Coordinator & Academic Advisor recruits and provides academic planning to undergraduate and graduate students, administrative support for faculty, and strategic assistance to the campus director.


  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

  • A minimum of two years of experience in higher education administration or student support services

  • A minimum of two years of customer service experience in a multifaceted role

  • Demonstrated relationship building skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; with the ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences in multiple modalities

  • Strong planning, organizing, and coordination skills

  • Creative problem solving skills

  • Managing multiple priorities

  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs and systems

  • Prior experience with nontraditional student populations is preferred

  • Experience with instruction for both ground and online is preferred

Minimum Salary $37,500

Responsible for maintaining existing client relationships, and for developing and execute marketing strategies to build and strengthen relationships with both prospective and existing clients. Success in this position requires a well developed, proven ability to influence to achieve results, close the sales in high-pressure final presentations and a strong market-driven, client-oriented focus.
