Responsibilities: • Position is located at NEW Academy of Science & Arts in Downtown Los Angeles. • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property. • Helps staff feel safer when walking between different buildings. • Monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points. • Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. • Proactively watching for suspicious behavior and contacting the proper authorities when an incident occurs. • Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency. • After business hours, checking doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure. • Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
