Title: Senior Desk Attendant - Residence Hall
Department: Wagner College Public Safety
Employment Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Organizational Relationship: Reports to Public Safety Supervisor
Work Location: Wagner College Residence Halls
Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for coordinating safety resources at the residence halls, identification/age verification and enforcement of Wagner College guest policies. Respond to inquiries from student residents in-person and via phone.
Notify Public Safety personnel of safety and security concerns in the residence halls. Know, understand and execute front desk operations and procedures. Answer inquiries by phone and relay messages, receive and sort packages, attend training and periodic meetings with Public Safety staff.
Perform other duties as assigned. Duties include and are not limited to administrative assignments, inventory of desk resources, reporting hazardous conditions and reports of alleged crimes to Public Safety Supervisors and/or Public Safety Director.
Education and Experience
A high school diploma or Associate's degree. Minimum 2 years relevant experience, administrative support, and/or general customer service.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs. Good communication and customer service skills. Strong multi-tasking, communication and time management skills.
Excellent team player with the ability to work independently and problem solving abilities. Establish and maintain cooperative working relations with staff and residents.
Desired Skills
● Ability to multi-task and communicate sensitive information effectively
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Excel, PowerPoint, GIS, and other analytical and communications tools.

Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $16.45 per hour.
