The Campus Operations Manager is accountable for driving continuous improvement, performance efficiencies and capabilities across the campus. The position manages complex projects and monitors operational standards and business metrics. The Campus Operations Manager must work effectively across all departments and within cross-functional teams.
Leader and subject matter expert on day to day operations of the ground university campus.
People management authority over specified campus operational employees.
Oversees contracted campus Facility Management and Security. Collaborate with department leaders to assist with the implementation of policies and procedures that support Facility and Security strategies.
Partner with Campus Vice President Student Affairs Campus Director with managing capital expenditures and large scale projects.
Creates and maintains campus operational internal control policies and works with the campus to correct any internal or external audit findings
Leader of campus Emergency Response Team. Recommends and champions policy, process, and best practices for campus emergency responses. Leads training initiatives related to emergency response.
Act as communications lead for campus delays, closures, or other emergency events.
Support day to day leadership with regard to community outreach activities at the campus; coordinates set up and take down for campus activities with intent to build relationships with local businesses, elected officials, higher education institutions, and Center for Corporate Engagement.
Partner with Building and Facilities Management group to ensure tickets are entered and completed in a timely manner for general facilities maintenance requests and other 3rd party vendors.
Participate on Community Outreach team. Coordinate events/tables for community events at our campus locations. Represent the campus at community events as needed.
Assist with building maintenance projects.
Oversee Campus Store operations including documented SOP's
Assist with front desk operations as needed.
Partner with CTU Events team on commencement, Patriot Scholarship, Doctoral Symposium, accreditation visits, etc.
Responsibilities for the Colorado Springs campus and Denver South location.
Other Duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Competencies
Knowledge and proficient with of Microsoft Office to include Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent student/customer service skills
Project Management Software
Must be able to "multi-task" and work effectively across multiple departments, and build strong relationships across the University.
Strong communication/presentation skills to multiple levels of employees on the campus.
