Campus Monitor Part time 28 Hours M-TH Mountainside Middle-College High School 24-25 school year The El Dorado County Office of Education, a recognized leader in providing high-quality alternative educational programs, is looking for a talented administrator to join our team as a part of our charter programs on the Los Rios Community College El Dorado Campus Center. Our instructional format is a hybrid-independent study model.

Students come to the school site a minimum of two days per week for classes. Teachers provide instruction and materials to students and families through a learning management system to support at-home learning and instruction. Our program is looking for a Campus Monitor who can support educators, students, and families in a 9th -12th environment and assist in providing meaningful experiences for students and families.

We are looking for team members that will work directly with the Principal, Vice Principal and instructional staff to support students at the Los Rios Community College El Dorado Campus Center. Job duties will include, but are not limited to: • Student outreach via phone, and on-site when applicable. • Working with special needs students. • Student supervision. • Organizing outdoor activities for students. • Food distribution. • Contributing to a positive school climate. Key characteristics we are looking for: • Ability to quickly form positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. • Ability to monitor students 9-12th grades. • Ability to fill in with the support necessary to help smoothly run campus with minimal supervision. • Ability to quickly reach proficiency with essential school management and communication.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Education at a level to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.

Experience Required: Prior experience in working with alternative students preferred. Work experience in an educational setting with school age students is preferred. Please include the following with a completed application:
