Sodexo has an outstanding opportunity for a Campus Dietitian at The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, PA. Join our dynamic team in the City of Brotherly Love where you'll support Sodexo Nutrition and Wellness programs for the benefit of the students, faculty and staff.
Reporting to the General Manager, the selected candidate will:
Develop and deliver educational programs to the student body to support nutrition program and client goals.
Work with students, faculty, administration and parents to achieve nutrition program goals and promote services.
Work with the athletics department providing group nutrition lectures and nutrition counseling
Provide 1:1 counseling to students with issues related to food allergies, weight management, disordered eating patterns and other medical issues requiring meal selection assistance.
Work closely with the management and culinary team to complete menu nutritional analysis in various operations and ensure compliance with all city, state and federal regulations
Share in operational management responsibilities to include scheduling, cash management, customer service, HACCP compliance, catering, etc.
Have excellent communication and customer service skills and be a team player.
Excel at working independently and be able to flex work schedules to accommodate student needs
Be a Registered Dietitian and/or eligible for licensure in the state of PA

Responsible for providing direct comprehensive nutrition services
Key Duties-Directs nutrition care of special needs population to ensure nutrition needs and customer satisfaction levels are met.
Maintains and develops client relationships and client satisfaction to ensure account retention.-Manages, promotes, and educates others on food and nutrition programs according to Sodexo standards and policy.
Collaborates and communicates with culinary and clinical departments on established processes, special diets, and menu requests and probes potential problems and apprises manager of status on resolution of problems or issues, using appropriate Sodexo resource when necessary.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as well as Sodexo/client policies and procedures (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel) by keep abreast of the most recent nutrition-related trends, research, policy, certifications, and standards of practice.
Establishes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments..
