Job Summary:
Assist Enrollment Management by being a campus representative in ensuring excellent service is provided to prospective students and families in a variety of settings (which may include campus visits, tours, open houses, and/or classroom visits) that exemplifies Benedictine hospitality.
Job Duties:
Greet and provide campus tours to our guests (scheduled and unscheduled)
Coordinating volunteers for open house events
Assist supervisor in scheduling appointments for individuals, multiple parties and large group functions.
Knowledge of campus and campus life
Operates general office equipment: faxing, scanning and copying of documents
Answer phones clearly with hospitable attitude and transfer to appropriate staff member
Take and distribute messages
Assist with mailings
Retrieve supplies when needed
Monitoring and restocking beverage supplies each day and cleaning the serving counter
Monitoring and restocking the Fact Sheets and Admissions materials located on shelf
Monitoring, folding and restocking of visit t-shirts
Monitoring inventory of supplies (t-shirts, cups, paper products). Advise supervisor if stock is low.
Greeting of campus visitors and making them feel welcome on our campus. Offer beverages and make small talk.
Taking the initiative to perform other duties for staff that may require assistance.
Other duties may be assigned and/or necessary.
Required Qualifications:
Must be a current CSS student
Federal work study eligibility is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact with a wide variety of people (faculty, staff, students and the public) in a friendly, professional manner is required
Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills are required
Able to work independently
Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy office environment with frequent interruptions is critical
Job functions require sitting, standing, and walking during shift
Professional attire and presence to represent the College to the public is required
Ability to perform all of the above functions during an assigned workday without significant risk of injury
Adhere to the Admissions Department Student Employment guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with public speaking and customer service are helpful.
A positive, enthusiastic and authentic personality is a must.
Preference is given to students that qualify for federal student employment.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
Must be a current CSS student

There will be considerable training required for this position.
Students may not start training until new employee paperwork with Student Employment
