A critical part of Consumer Lending is the Merchant Services Organization, which provides businesses across the U.S. with a range of payment processing capabilities with in-person, online and on-the-go options. And, within Merchant Services, the Growth Marketing Team is chartered with building and executing strategies that will allow us to aggressively grow and scale our customer base. The team owns all outbound acquisition marketing initiatives, manages the shopping experience on WellsFargo.com, and provides critical marketing leadership and support to our sales organizations (both centralized call centers and distributed field sales teams).
The Campaign and Sales Support Marketing Manager (Marketing Program Manager 2) role will be a mission critical member of the Growth Marketing Team. This person will partner closely with the Merchant Services Small Business Banking sales organization and provide strategic and executional marketing support across promotional offer development, campaign management, lead list generation, marketing communications, event marketing and educational support materials. We are in need of a rock star that understands what it means to truly partner with our sales teams and knows how to effectively build integrated sales and marketing programs.
Specific responsibilities include:
Helping build out and execute our annual marketing plans in support of our sales organizations, including socializing plans with senior leadership and sales teams to gain buy-in.
Developing promotional incentives. This will include ideation, business case development, offer communications, fulfillment management and measurement.
Generating prospecting lead lists in support of our sales team's outbound calling efforts. This is a complex initiative from defining the list pull criteria to managing a cross-functional team to building out and uploading the list into our sales technology platforms to ensuring successful measurement.
Creating marketing campaigns targeted at driving leads to our sales organizations, including concepting, creative and media plan development, executional management and campaign measurement.
Generating event marketing support for key trade shows/events that the sales team attends.
Providing ongoing marketing communications support for the sales teams, including pitch decks, email templates, customer-facing videos and more.
Creating detailed reporting for stakeholders and senior leaders to inform them of program effectiveness. This will include analyzing data, monitoring performance and providing optimization recommendations.
Maintaining partnerships with our sales teams (and sales leadership) to create a "one-team" approach across our marketing and sales organizations. Our goal is to have a true partnership with our sales teams.
Ensuring all marketing programs have a measurement plan in place so we can effectively understand the ROI of our initiatives, determine where we should optimize our campaigns and assess if there are programs we should stop.
Serving as subject matter expert on sales marketing support best practices, process and policy within the Merchant Services organization.
Ability to identify risk exposures and propose solutions

Other Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated marketing experience (including lead generation) for business-to-business sales teams
Experience in annual marketing planning for sales organizations
Solid analytical skills with ability to turn campaign results/findings into executable insights
Experience communicating and presenting to multiple levels of the organization
Strong ability to drive test and learn agendas
Ability to drive needed results reporting and identify critical insights
Solid knowledge base across core digital marketing channels
A customer-centric mindset and a desire to drive best-in-class experiences
Marketing experience within financial services industry, or other highly regulated industry
Previous experience developing or managing online marketing programs in financial services or regulated industries
