Job Summary:

The Outbound Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and carrying out the execution of B2B marketing campaigns with an emphasis on the following digital marketing channels

  • Email marketing and website.

The Outbound Marketing Specialist drives the day-to-day execution of email communications, which encompasses working with various internal teams on creatively producing the email design via HTML, testing, sending out using the email delivery system, testing and scheduling of the email. In addition, the Outbound Email Marketing Specialist will also carry out website related execution such as dispatch of announcements across the website, editing new pages, creating new pages and other operational activities critical to the success of the marketing team's communications strategy.

Success will be measured the efficiency of the tasks / projects being delivered, minimized number of revisions and overall satisfaction or rating from the business unit / marketers.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design emails and webpages that meet the business objectives of the marketers

  • Support the overall email delivery

  • HTML creation - designing and laying out the HTML

  • Support different email strategies

  • AB test, timezone send, dynamic content etc.
  • Testing and quality check of the emails to avoid revisions

  • Send email tests to the marketers

  • Scheduling and sending out the emails

  • Execute marketing communications across the site

  • Launch announcements

  • Create pages

  • Design pages based on marketers content

  • Build pages based on agreed approach

  • Test and quality check pages created

  • Launch new pages in the website

  • Edit pages

  • Design pages based on marketers content

  • Build pages based on agreed approach

  • Test and quality check pages created

  • Create capture / registration forms both for lead generation (web to lead form) and free content hosting

  • Create re-directs and or short URLs/Vanity URLs

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively reprioritizing when necessary as determined by competitive issues.

  • Apply corporate brand guidelines to create strong marketing materials and a consistent look and feel in the market.

  • Coordination with different regions to ensure project deliverables are met

Key Skills Required:

  • Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes, and user interface design as well as industry best practices

  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web. A strong working knowledge of experience design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, proactively reprioritizing when necessary as determined by competitive issues.

  • Three to five years of email marketing experience using various or any email platform like Eloqua, Exact Target, Silver-Pop, and others (Eloqua email marketing experience is an advantage)

  • At least one to three years of digital marketing experience

  • Strong email marketing production experience

  • Certified or certified on other email platforms (i.e. Eloqua, Wordpress etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML, Adobe Photoshop, Fireworks, or Creative Suite

  • Aptitude for design/UX

  • Understanding of landing page and form optimization best practices which drive conversion metrics

  • Strong project planning and execution skills

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • High level of commitment

  • Deadline-driven

  • Attention to detail

  • Good interpersonal communication skills

Other Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess Bachelor's/College degree

  • Willing to work on third shift

  • No corrective action for the last 12 months, no attendance and performance issues
