POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Associate for Camps will promote Island Lake and Miracle Ranch to churches, para-churches, non-profit organizations and up to 50 for-profit groups per camp. Acquire new Camps business in the Great Puget Sound area through various means of pursuit (emails, phone calls, in person meetings, etc). Bookings will be made in conjunction/communication with the Program Director and Sales team to ensure availability and best booking practices. Refer Guest Groups to open camp calendar spots and Fusion retreats as appropriate. Retain Guest Groups for successive bookings. Complete weekly reports, with supporting materials to provide documentation for payment of commission.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES

  • Sales Effort

  • Prospect, cold call and develop new customers.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals with established sales team members.

  • Promote Island Lake and Miracle Ranch.

  • Send out quotes and booking forms as needed.

  • Communicate the value of camp and CRISTA Camps offerings to groups.

  • Sales and team communication

  • Provide weekly sales report to Program/Sales Director and Book Keeper for commission record keeping and team collaboration meetings.

  • Communicate with Program /Sales Director as needed.

  • Work collaboratively with the supervisor, coworkers, and customers.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

CHRIST-CENTERED

A deep and abiding faith that is fully surrendered to the will of Jesus Christ, evidenced by a lifestyle that is consistent with biblical principles in word and deed. Commitment to spiritual growth and development. Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.

EDUCATION

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

EXPERIENCE

Two years of sales experience

Two years working in youth ministry, ministry leadership or similar experience.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

Valid WA State Driver's License

SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE

Basic understanding of word, excel, and outlook.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

  • A good communicator in front of groups

  • Able to manage a lot of details and people throughout a day

  • Able to provide own transportation

  • Able to provide own phone for the sales calls

  • Represent CRISTA Camps in a highly professional, Christ-Centered, and service driven manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in Ministry, sales, or business from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Four years of Sales experience.

SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE

Familiarity with Camps software Venue for sales.
