IDS is looking for a Supply Systems Analyst to oversee the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Warehousing and Distribution supply systems at Camp Lemonnier. This role is contingent upon award and will be located at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa.
Analyzes transactions/data to determine problem area; determine the feasibility of consolidating, eliminating, or expanding interrelated supply systems functions.
Provides the impact of new/proposed changes to the system/regulations.
Coordinates with functional users to resolve operational and procedural problems, and researches functional problem area.
Performs as the WMS POC to serve as the focal point for the Government in receiving communication and responding to information pertaining to WMS as well as perform WMS-MIS functions IAW C-220.127.116.11 WMS-MIS.
Serve as the Query Management Facility (QMF) query writer to write new queries as required.
A minimum of three (3) years' experience using DLA's Warehouse Management System (WMS) or equivalent WMS within the past five (5) years.
Must have knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships in order to conduct studies, reviews, and investigations.
Must possess thorough knowledge of policies and procedures is required to manage and control material through the receipt, storage, warehousing, issue, packing, and/or transportation functions.
Must be able to meet the medical deployment requirements IAW CENTCOM MOD15.
Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
Prior U.S. Military or Government employee who has served as a Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) analyst.
Prior experience and knowledge of DLA's Distribution Standards System (DSS) and the Army's Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
