Position Summary

Old World Wisconsin is a 600-acre outdoor living history museum located in Eagle, Wisconsin. With a focus on hands exploration and immersive spaces, OWW is a celebrated destination for families and friends making new memories, sharing stories, and connecting to Wisconsin's past as they get inspired for their own futures. Staff work in historic indoor and outdoor spaces in the beauty of the Kettle Moraine State Forest to bring history to life for tens of thousands of guests each summer.

Camp Counselors facilitate dynamic summer educational programming at Wisconsin's largest outdoor living history attraction. Camp Counselors create immersive and engaging experiences for participants in day camps that explore rural Midwestern life in the 19th and early 20th century.

Camp Counselors are responsible for instruction and supervision of participants in custodial programs (programs where youth participate without adult caregivers). Old World Wisconsin's three youth camps range in audiences from 6 to 17 , and each features hands-on activities, question-based exploration, and lots of play! Themes include 19th century life, craftsmanship, and historic trades exploration. Daily set up and housekeeping are required to keep our spaces clean, safe, and accessible for participants.

Old World Wisconsin's 2025 camp season runs June through August, with program delivery on Wednesdays - Sundays. When not facilitating camp programs, Camp Counselors may be responsible for leading hands-on learning activities geared toward families.
