Call Center Representative

Our Call Center is growing and we have a need for a Part-time Call Center Representative for our Port Jefferson Station store location. Our Call Center Representatives are responsible for managing heavy phones with providing excellent customer service, resolving customer issues and complaints and assisting with general catering inquiries. This position is three (3), 8 hour shifts to include one weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.

• Follow communication "scripts" when handling different topics

• Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives.

• Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise.

• Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile.

• Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way.

• Frequently attend educational catering seminars provided by upper management to improve knowledge and performance levels.

• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets.

• Other duties and functions as assigned

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a customer support role with high volume calls

• Track record of over-achieving quota

• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening

• Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types

• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively

• Must speak fluent English
