Job summary:

This high volume call center position will primarily be responsible for supporting local dental offices in the states the Company operates in.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:

  • Appointment confirmation

  • Patient scheduling

  • Inbound customer service calls

  • Eligibility verification


  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Healthcare background a plus

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and follow-up as necessary

  • Knowledge of Dentrix preferred, but not required


Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Call center experience preferred, but not required

Certifications: NA

Computer Skills:Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products

Language Ability: Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to remain calm during stressful customer or employee situations. Bilingual preferred, but not required

Work Environment/ Physical Demands:

The work environment includes work within a dental clinic and remote work in an office environment. The work environment may vary significantly and may include loud, fast-paced, and rapidly changing conditions. All employees working within a dental clinic have potential exposure to blood or air borne pathogens, as is typical in a healthcare setting. Position may require long periods of sitting and standing. Manual dexterity will be required for handling small objects. Close and distance vision will be required and the ability to shift focus rapidly. Nature of work requires an ability to effectively communicate and exchange information with patients, their parents, and staff.? Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time; ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and be able to twist, turn, bend and stoop.

Essential Functions * Completes outbound calls based with a focus on lead generation activities for new car, used car and service drive marketing programs * Other assignments for outbound call include but are not limited to safety recalls, recommended services, special order parts, declined service, pre-paid maintenance, state inspections * Makes daily call quota * Respond to inbound internet leads by phone, text message, and email * Schedules sales and service appointments * Confirms sales and service appointments * Reschedules missed sales and service appointments * Books appointments based on maintenance schedule per brand and in accordance with company policies and manufacturers specifications * Assists with answering customer inquiries and problems by routing customer to the contact and or department * Conducts telephone and in-person transactions courteously and promptly * Understands the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technology changes * Understands the manufactures requirements and policies for assigned brands * Follows all attendance and punctuality standards and adheres to timekeeping standards; Employees are required to record the beginning and end times of any shift, break or departure from work for personal reasons * Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct * Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors * Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements * Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy * Attends pertinent training and stay current with the sales department concerns and sales techniques * Attends company meetings as required * Other duties as assigned Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
