Advanced Care Scripts (ACS), a CVS Health Company, manages and dispenses specialty medications and products nationwide. Our comprehensive patient care model provides compliance and adherence support and cost-effective solutions for all classes of specialty medications.

As a Patient Care Specialist, you will schedule patient's deliveries and address all patient needs in one phone call resolution. Also you will assist patients on Specialty prescription medications understand their benefits and financial responsibilities through superior customer service, while guaranteeing compliance with regulatory requirements.

Furthermore, you will handle all Customer Service interactions which includes arranging funding programs and educating patients on financial assistance programs while ensuring our patients' satisfaction. Some other critical components of this role include delivering the highest quality of care, serve as the subject matter guide as needed and ensure individualized goals are met and process patient requests and prescription orders in an accurate and efficient manner. Also you will display professional behavior, which aligns with company's code of conduct and ethics and is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and established departmental policies and procedures.

  • Friday, 11:00 am

  • 8:00 pm

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Six months or more of experience in customer service, customer care or related field

  • Six or more months working in either Microsoft Excel, Outlook, or Word

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Insurance experience and call center experience

  • Knowledge working with CPR+ application

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Facility Profile: Florida Hospital East Orlando, a 265-bed community hospital, has been serving East Orlando residents since 1941 as an innovative local leader that fills a vital need in a fast-growing area. A recent 200,000 square-foot expansion project upgraded the hospital to 265 beds, with a spacious patient tower and 80 new private rooms designed to enhance the holistic care experience Work Hours/Shifts: M – F / 7:30 – 4p Job Summary: Under Supervision performs the duties directly involved with mammography applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. In addition to mammography, may also perform DXA scans at locations where the service is offered. For cost center 4337 the technologist may also perform Diagnostic Radiological exams (fluoroscopy excluded). Regulates the equipment used to expose the imaging receptor; processes and organizes images. Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards when using ionizing radiation to produce radiographic images. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required: * Knowledge of mammography * Knowledge of diagnostic radiological positions (cost center 4337 only) * Ability to determine appropriate technical factors * Knowledge of mammography equipment and MQSA and ACR regulations * Ability to learn and master new tasks related to image quality and radiation safety * Ability to communicate effectively and work with people of diverse backgrounds * Ability to complete Mammography exams in a timely manner even under stressful condition * Minimum of one year in Mammography (Preferred) * Minimum of one year of experience performing stereotactic core biopsies (Preferred) * Minimum of one year of experience performing breast needle localizations (Preferred) * Good organizational skills (Preferred) * Knowledge of PACS and associated equipment (Preferred) Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required: * Current valid State of Florida license as a General Radiographer * ARRT ( R ) * ARRT ( M ) * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification * Current Florida driver's license, class E and driving record in accordance with Florida Hospital policy (cc 3100 only) Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates through behavior Florida Hospital's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organization's Performance Excellence Program * Produces quality radiographs per the procedure manual. [Exam Supervision and Administration] * Completes work in appropriate timeframe and ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed. Sets priorities and performs well in stressful and emergency situations. [Personal Productivity and Accountability] * Utilizes computer system to update exam status, cancel/update orders as needed. Ensures charges match procedure completed. Confirms proper exam/patient assignment before releasing images to PACS for interpretation. Corrects erroneous accession numbers in PACS. [Data Processing] * Performs daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual Quality Assurance on all Mammography units and processors. [Quality Control] * Operates and maintains Imaging equipment in a safe manner. Adheres to all infection control standards. Utilizes knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect from exposure to chemical, radiation and/or biohazard. Properly wears Dosimeter badge and seeks to minimize radiation exposure. [Safety and Environment of Care] * Performs mammography and DXA exams (and Diagnostic X-rays for cc 4337 only) and operates all Imaging equipment in assigned area. Utilizes the knowledge and skills for age-specific factors necessary to perform safe and effective procedures on patients of adult and geriatric ages. The knowledge and skills are acquired through formal training, in-service, continuing education and/or experience. Learns/adapts to new technologies and protocols and helps develop the knowledge and competency of coworkers and students. [Clinical Competence] * Assists with data collection for KPIs while understanding the department performance trends and established standards. Contributes toward process improvement by serving on PI teams as assigned. Participates in patient satisfaction initiatives. Utilizes patient service recovery resources when appropriate.
