Make a Difference.Answer incoming patient phone calls in a high call volume medical billing call center and take appropriate action for each call. Maintain patient/client satisfaction based on explicit criteria set forth by the company Use company policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to an issue or if that issue requires the A/R teams review. Input data into each patient's account platform to keep each record updated with all and any action taken on the account. Must maintain a 95% rating on QA to include meeting call quota of 65 calls per day. *
  • Answering Incoming Patient Calls * Conducting Outbound Calls to Patients and Physician offices * Answering Patient inquiries, using multiple system resources to research and resolve various issues. * Scheduling patients for appointments with physician office(s) following physician specific requirements * Updating patient accounts as necessary * Building strong long lasting relationships with clients and patients * Providing reports to management staff regarding daily activities, process improvements, etc. * Other Duties as assigned

    Minimum Requirements:
    1+ years of work experience preferred; Healthcare and/or Insurance billing or processing and customer service preferredEducation and Certifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.Critical

    * Ability to navigate multiple various computer systems Ability to type 30+ WPM Ability to work in an environment with little supervision needed Ability to use Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook Ability to work in a moderately noisy, fast pace and changing environmentAdditional/Specialized Knowledge and

Responsible for the operational activities of a refund processing department as it relates to over payments/underpayments for health insurance. Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered. May be responsible for one or more of the following activities. May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices. Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work. Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budgets. Minimum Job Qualifications: * 2-year degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of operational experiences preferably in healthcare. Additional Knowledge & Skills * Leadership/management experience * Strong communication/problem solving, strong process and policy * Understanding of credit balance on patient accounts, with the understanding of differentiating between insurance payments and patient payments. * Knowledge of insurance refund processes and guidelines. * documentation skills. Able to motivate others and work under pressure. * Excellent understanding of the A/R process. * Is capable of training others and answering questions from * co-workers when necessary. * Strong analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior level clients, and high level of computer literacy with command of office software including excel spreadsheets, pivot tables and PowerPoint presentation. * Good knowledge of healthcare, government and/or insurance industry. * Must be organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task efficiently and work well with others.
