Quartz is growing! Our organization is excited to offer a professional opportunity for growth through the addition of a Work Force Coordinator role within our customer service call center. This critical position will be responsible for forecasting the call volume, scheduling staff and monitoring real-time activity to ensure optimum operational efficiency is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the proactive day-to-day scheduling of staff within the call center; review and approve requests for discretionary activities such as vacations, trainings, meetings and overtime to maximize efficiency and occupancy while meeting department goals

  • Collect, analyze and report historical call center performance and agent performance statistics

  • Lead staffing review meetings with Supervisors and Management, to report on past call volume, call patterns and staffing patterns

  • Ensure service goals are met on a daily basis, and communicate any concerns and/or solutions

  • Provide monthly and other long-range forecasts consisting of required staffing levels to ensure service goals are met

  • Coordinate and communicate training requirements and impacts on staffing levels


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred

  • 1+ year(s) of experience forecasting and scheduling call center inquiry volume

  • Working knowledge of CISCO Agent Desktop Supervisor, Calabrio, and/or Workforce Manager preferred; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and requests in a timely and accurate manner

  • Demonstrated understanding of operational performance indicators, metrics and expectations

  • Ability to schedule and coordinate department activities, identify training needs, and effectively respond to changes in the work environment

Work is performed according to established guidelines and the verbal and written instructions of the Recreation Supervisor – Facilities or Lead Concession Worker. Work is reviewed by the Recreation Supervisor – Facilities or Lead Concession Worker for accuracy and adherence to established procedures. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Any one position may not include all the duties listed, nor are the examples listed include all the duties that may be found in this position. * Greet customers in a friendly and timely manner and take concession orders from them. * Assist in kitchen process such as preparation, cooking, and serving products. * Process the order on cash register and return correct change; follow City cash handling policies and procedures. Balance cash drawer each shift or as directed following established cash handling policies. * Prepare and provide concession supplies ordered by customers. * Maintain cleanliness in concession area and surrounding eating areas. * Follow safe food handling procedures at all times. RELATED JOB FUNCTIONS: * Contributes to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating a willingness to perform other job-related work, as needed or requested. The interdependency of operations is recognized and the abilities and skills exist to do other work as needed or requested. Requirements of Work (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) * Ability to read, understand, and effectively carry out written and oral instructions, measurements, directions and work orders. * Ability to use equipment safely and act in a safe manner when in the work environment. * Knowledge of general food service. * Ability to handle cash transactions, count money and disperse correct change. * Ability to provide a high level of customer service. * Ability to report to work at the scheduled times. * Ability to work well with other employees. * Ability to work well with the general public. * Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and establish effective working relationships with associates, volunteers, staff and public; calmly approach and solve problems under stressful circumstances; maintain and promote harmony in the workplace; concentrate for extended periods of time; and be flexible. Training, Experience & Other Requirements * Proper appearance and good hygiene when on duty. * Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred.
