Job Summary for Concierge Sales Agent

This position is part of the company wide Concierge Team. As a Concierge Sales Agent, you will handle inbound and outbound sales calls about our River Cruises, Land and Small Ship travel products. You will be successfully closing sales by influencing customers' travel decisions through exceptional selling skills and in-depth product knowledge, while maintaining a professional, courteous and outgoing personality. THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION.

We are hiring for our September 28th training class.

Concierge Sales Agent Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Answers inbound and outbound sales calls and completes booking following established script and protocol.

  • Maintains or exceeds established Concierge Center conversion and productivity standards.

  • Accurately enters customer information and completes booking while maintaining established Concierge Center quality standards.

  • Makes outbound calls to follow-up with and book prospective customers.

  • Maintains up to date knowledge of current product offerings by reading direct mail pieces and attending regularly scheduled department meetings and training/product briefing sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results oriented environment

  • Must have account management skills for both organization and success in prior sales job

  • Experience in high volume inbound calling and the basic closing skills needed to reach individual goals

  • Should be focused on end-results and able to learn both systems and product quickly and efficiently

  • Strong communication skills - speaks clearly and persuasively in a positive or negative situation and able to listen well in order to respond to questions

Software/Systems

  • Basic Microsoft skills, including Outlook

  • Reservation system experience highly preferred

This company is run by the numbers and strictly adheres to weekly reporting and holding people accountable to their numbers.

Compensation/Benefits

Base Salary + highly competitive commission plan

4 weeks of paid training

15 vacation days, 10 holidays, 5 sick days and 3 personal days

401K with company match, Medical, dental, and vision benefits

Travel discounts - employees who complete a minimum of 6 months service are eligible for a free familiarity river cruise, and discounted rates on Vantage Travel products.

Job Summary We are seeking a take-charge Manager to drive the success of our inbound telesales team who sell deluxe journeys to the mature traveler. The manager must be extremely hands on; conducting coaching, call monitoring, and making customer calls to close sales. The Manager coordinates day-to-day planning and sales activities, ensures that the team achieves expected revenue, conversion and quality goals, reports weekly results to senior management, and develops action plans. We are currently hiring for our September 28, 2020 class. List of Responsibilities * Hold a team of sales and customer service associates accountable to exceed goals and performance metrics * Work closely with the CC Analyst to identify shortcomings in team productivity and adherence * Maximize sales and service activities via an incentive plan * Create/modify call scripts to achieve expected results * Provide coaching to agents * Provide training with topics for weekly sales training * Attend weekly Concierge Center Mgmt meetings * Attend other corporate meetings are required * Help develop established script and calling strategies * Maintain and update call center manuals for the sales channel * Other Call Center projects may present themselves Required Skills and Experience * 5-7 years' experience leading a call center sales and customer sedrvice environment with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to outbound sales. Travel industry experience is not required. * Direct experience in creating, leading and developing a strong commission based sales team * Strong analytical skills and able to make strategic and operational decisions to exceed revenue goals * Past experience with a salary comprised of 50%+ variable earnings.
