Serves new and existing customers/patients by answering phone inquiries. Creating a WOW experience and make it easy for them to access dental care needs; provides accurate information such as but not limited to fee schedule and insurance verification; book dental appointments; resolving problems.
Responds to a high volume of telephone inquiries about the services being offered by the dental office by following standards scripts and procedure.
Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to company set standards and guidelines.
Obtains patient information by answering telephone calls and verify accurate information.
Schedule patients' appointments.
Determines and verify insurance eligibility.
Be able to enter new and existing patients' information in Dentrix in a timely fashion.
Maintains communication with the immediate supervisor for any questions that may arise.
Updates job knowledge and expertise by participating in various company sponsored continuing education and training.
Enhances company reputation by accepting ownership and accountability.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to communicate and understand effectively the predominant language of the caller.
Strong customer service skills
Must have basic computer skills (MS Office Suite such as Word and Excel), knowledge of Dentrix will be helpful but not required.

Working and Physical conditions
Work is primarily in a climate controlled office setting with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Sitting, sedentary, walking, occasional lifting from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
Call Center Assistant is directly supervised by the Call Center Lead.
