Calibration Technician

Sensata Technologies is looking for a Calibration Technician who will work closely with Design, Manufacturing and Quality Engineers to Calibrate, Inspect, and Trouble Shoot gages used in testing.

• Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform calibration tasks on electrical equipment, pressure controllers, and environmental ovens.

• Work closely with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers to Calibrate, Inspect, and Trouble Shoot gages used in testing.

• Perform calibration of electrical and mechanical calibrated tools and gages.

• Interface with multiple electronic databases.

• Interface with and schedule 3rd party Calibration Sources.

• Participate in designing and implementing fixturing.

• Verify vendor certificate.

• Prepare requisition purchase orders for vendors.

• Participate in discrepant material processing.

• Follow procedures to comply with Aerospace Quality System (ISO 9001 and AS9100).

• Learn and train others as needed.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Experience with ERP planning systems (Oracle JDE knowledge a plus).

• Ability to create, enter data and generate reports.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to details.

• Ability to function successfully in fast paced, high pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years' Experience in Access
• 1-2 years' Experience in interfacing with customers, in a fast moving, high growth, and global company.

Hourly Base Pay Range:

$27.07 - $37.22
