Cake Decorator/Wedding Cake Decorator

Job Description Job Description We are looking to hire an experienced wedding and specialty cake decorator. It is preferred that the candidate has experience with decorating pastries as well.

Please inquire within. (860) 529-2527 Building, frosting, and decorating cakes to customers request. Working alongside other chef's, preparing a variety of pastry and cake slices. Decorate pastries and baked goods in a traditional presentable manner.

Requirements The qualified candidate must have 2 years of experience as a cake decorator in a high volume bakery environment. Since the core of our business is wedding cakes, this individual must have knowledge of wedding cakes from beginning to end. Additional requirements include experience in preparing from scratch his or her own butter/whip cream and fondant.

Successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in decorating with royal icing and fondant. Candidate must be willing to provide references, name and phone number of former supervisors/managers upon request.
