We're hiring Cafe Supervisors to Live. Work. Explore. this summer!
Job Summary:The Cafe Supervisors help run the high volume and fast paced Castle Dome Cafe. Ensure guests receive quick and courteous services while developing teamwork among staff to ensure a positive work environment.
The Details:Season Dates: ASAP - 12/4/2024 Pay: $16.60/hr
Housing/Meals: Complimentary - Single Status Housing Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
To commit food specification to memory and to follow-up and ensure that staff members learn and adhere to those specifications.
To develop team work among the staff and ensure a positive work environment by building employee morale through motivation.
To ensure that guests are greeted immediately and that all food and service issues are handled expediently and courteously.
To direct the staff toward the goal of maximizing guest service.
To maintain clean and sanitary service and dining areas through example and staff direction.
To develop an open two-way line of communication between the staff and other managers.
To develop department work schedule and make shift changes for employees, as needed.
To train and follow-up with staff that proper food preparation procedures are followed.
Seeing that all closing duties are completed and inspect and initial each time card.
To promote menu knowledge and suggestive selling among the staff.
Other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant lead, supervisory and/or management experience required.
Ability to absorb and retain a large amount of information.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to bend, stretch and reach for extended periods of time.
