As a full-time Cafe Supervisor, you will assist in the supervision of the cafe directing to the venue management team. This position may require performing other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the venue.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. VENUE OPERATIONS Maintains the cleanliness, upkeep, and functionality of the cafe, storage area, and equipment. Acts as a liaison between GP management, the client (LMCC), vendors/ GP drivers to ensure venue guidelines pertaining to deliveries are maintained.

Assist with maintaining control of inventory (par) for the cafe Assist with EOM inventory reporting. Ensuring the venue meets the standard operating procedures for the Department of Health compliance. Coordinate with GP event teams when the café will need to close early for private events.

Operational Supervision Coordinate and manage the entire open-to-close operation of the cafe during scheduled service. Receive GP deliveries in the mornings. Administrative duties include but are not limited to Cash Handling, Safe Logs, Opening/Closing Procedures, and overall organization of the administrative tasks.

Report par and stock levels and communicate to management on necessary order quantities. Resolving guest issues and concerns with a professional demeanor while implementing creative solutions as needed. Enforcing service standards as described in the Hospitality/Great Performances Employee Guides Maintain open, professional communication with GP and Apollo management.

Possess basic knowledge of mixed cocktails, beer and wine. Acts as concession attendant/bartender when needed. Possess strong barista knowledge and capabilities (cappuccinos, lattes, cortados, macchiatos, chai lattes, matcha lattes, flat whites, etc) Participate in ongoing staff café training for supplemental coverage Providing excellent hospitality with a positive attitude towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc.

Professional handling and communication of customer complaints Self-sufficient and comfortable working without immediate supervision as well as being a part of a team-driven environment, Submit “End of Day” venue reports. Adheres to all food safety policies and procedures. Venue Promotions Assist Venue General Manager & Assistant Manager with promotional activities and operational changes.

Assist in managing logistics for small internal catering events. Assist with rental orders and special event ordering. Accommodating special requests as per Venue General Manager & Assistant Manager Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Minimum 2-4 years of Cafe/Hospitality supervisory experience Proficient in Microsoft Suite to assist management with café reporting. Knowledge of Department of Health guidelines and standards Self-disciplined, leadership ability; pleasant, polite manner and a neat and clean appearance Ability to be self-motivated to ensure that food and service meet hospitality standards. Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions when needed.

Must possess excellent communication and written skills. Ability to execute all duties and responsibilities in a safe and timely manner. Accurate cash handling and POS (Square) experience.
