Victory Charter School in Nampa is hiring a full-time kitchen manager (7 hours per day, M-F) for its school café. Candidates must be able to demonstrate basic computer skills, including knowledge of point-of-sale procedures; inventory skills; ability to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis; and have completed, or be able to complete prior to starting, the State Dept. of Education's sanitation class. Knowledge of the USDA's school lunch program and reporting is a plus.

The successful candidate must be able to begin training the week prior to the first day of the 2024-2025 schoolyear. The first day of school is August 12.

Continued onsite training and mentoring will be provided during the school year. The salary is $27,000 annually with benefits. The school café follows Victory's school calendar, which is 172 school days with two-week breaks in October, December and April, a week-long Thanksgiving break, federal holidays, and a nine-week summer.
