Position Overview:

Harbinger is seeking a highly skilled and motivated CAE, NVH, and Durability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computational analysis, particularly in the areas of NVH and durability, coupled with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced simulation techniques to enhance product performance and durability across various industries.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced CAE simulations to assess NVH performance and identify potential sources of noise and vibration in mechanical systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for mitigating NVH issues and improving overall product quality.

• Utilize state-of-the-art simulation tools and methodologies to predict and optimize product durability under various operating conditions and environments.

• Perform detailed structural analysis and fatigue assessments to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.

• Work closely with design and testing teams to validate simulation results and drive continuous improvement in product design and development processes.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and support staff on CAE, NVH, and durability-related tasks and projects.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in CAE software, methodologies, and industry best practices to maintain Harbinger's competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in conducting CAE simulations for NVH analysis and durability assessment, preferably in automotive or aerospace applications.

• Proficiency in using industry-standard CAE software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or LS-DYNA for structural analysis, modal analysis, and fatigue simulation.

• Strong understanding of vibration theory, structural dynamics, and finite element analysis (FEA) techniques.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis is a plus.
