  • TheCADD Technician/ Entry Level I willprovide support services to the Engineering Division drafting needs for FortHood DPW construction projects.

Essential Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Will accurately and efficiently produce typical sets ofdrawings for construction contracting. Drawing sets typically consist of plans,elevations, and sections and enlarged details for various disciplines includingbut not limited to Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical,Plumbing and Fire.

  • Modify CADD drawings by collecting, analyzinginformation and conferring with DPW Engineers.

  • Provide printing and plotting support to DPW Engineerson an as needed basis.

  • Remain current on latest information, CADD techniquesand best practices on Government- provided software in order to communicateupdates to DPW Engineers.

  • Supports the development of recommended methods andprocedures to improve the overall operations of the DPW CADD environment.

  • Must be able to accept direction from the CADD Manager;follow instructions and be flexible with assignments.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Associate'sDegree in CADD, required.

Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:

  • Musthave the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Knowledge ofDrafting terminology, techniques, measuring instruments and procedures.

  • Proficientknowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge ofBentley V8i and ESRI ArcGIS is preferred.

VIEW JOBS 11/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-06T00:00 Job Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the Project Manager, The Floor Technicians clean floors and carpets for large facilities including mopping, scrubbing, and shining non-carpeted areas, utilizing the right products and gear needed for the job. Maintains constant monitoring of cleanliness to ensure company standards are correctly maintained. Job Duties: Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, clean assigned areas of building, including carpeted, slick floor, and cement walkways. Provide slick floor services, such as stripping, waxing, spray buffing, sweeping, and mopping, to include proper edging on all floor surfaces. Use both high speed and low speed buffers and burnishing equipment on slick floors. Apply proper chemical for stripping, waxing, and buffing of slick floors, use chemical safety. Complete floors in a timely manner. Clean baseboards throughout the facility Respond to floor care emergency calls such as spills, body fluids, and markings. Disinfect floor care equipment after use Perform preventative maintenance on all floor care equipment. Use cleaning equipment, including automatic floor machines, commercial vacuums, wet mops, large wringers and other necessary equipment, tools, chemicals and supplies. Dry and wet mop floors, scrub and buff floors with rotor and other machines, vacuum carpets to clean and control bacteria, transport trash from utility rooms and other collection points. Identify safety hazards and abide by safety rules. Document inspections and other maintenance activities. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned. Abilities: Knowledge of tools, equipment, techniques, skills, materials, and methods of floor care. The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms and/or legs. The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). The ability to lift between 25-50 lbs. The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to work in safe and efficient manner. Required Experience & Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or G.E.D. 12 months relevant experience. Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable.
