Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Create complete architectural drawings and submittal packages renovation projects as directed by the Engineering Manager

  • Responsible for completing documents and designs within budget constraints

  • Attend weekly meetings as required

  • Perform final material take-offs for equipment/furnishings/components for bill of material counts and update associated work orders in project management software

  • Prepare Owner Documentation packages, archive drawing storage & filing and system service file creation

  • Conduct field surveys as required (some travel may be required)

  • Maintain accurate time sheets for time allocation and costing purposes

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight

Technical Competencies:

Must have strong computer skills and extensive knowledge of AutoCAD and be able to make decisions based on designs and code requirements. Must have the ability to analyze data and overall project and come up with creative solutions. Must keep up to date on industry and engineering standards. Must be proficient in using MS Office. Must have strong communication and time management skills. Must be organized and detail-oriented.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. A minimum of two years of CADD experience using the most current version of AutoCAD.
