Summary – Engineering CAD Technician: As an Engineering CAD Technician you’d be responsible for performing detailing and drafting work on assigned projects. Projects typically consist of steel structures for commercial, industrial, and public clients.

Responsibility Summary – Engineering CAD Technician

• Perform drafting and detailing in computer aided design (CAD) software.
• Create erection, approval, and permit drawings.
• Work with other members of the project team to completed assigned tasks.
• Update parts in the workflow planning system.
• Assure deadlines are met.

Qualification Summary – Engineering CAD Technician

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer aided drafting, structural engineering, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field of study
• 1+ year of educational or professional experience in the use of computer aided design (CAD) software
• Proficient in performing complex mathematical calculations
• High level of skill in the use of computer hardware and software systems
