CAD Technician

Visionary Electrical Solutions, Inc. VES is looking for a CAD Technician for its Mesa, AZ location.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Help develop and maintain CAD standards and procedures.

• Attend regular development meetings.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to modify existing drawings in both PDF and CAD formats.

• Create new 2D design drawings as directed by the engineering team ensuring that standardized nomenclature is maintained.

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of CAD software and related technologies.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Operate and print completed sheets on color plotter.

• Be attentive to scheduling deadlines and be committed to ensuring timelines are met

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum 2-year degree in related field (preferred)

• Bachelor's or Certifications (preferred)

• 2+ years' experience utilizing CAD software as a Designer, Designer/Drafter or Draftsperson in the areas of architecture, electrical, or mechanical specialties however any discipline will be considered for candidates that possess excellent working knowledge with AutoCad and associated software products.

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
