CAD Technician

Mi-Tech offers a broad range of professional, engineering and technical services
to the telecommunications and power delivery markets. We have a current opening
for a CAD Technician. At Mi-Tech, we support our customers and stakeholders and
constantly strive to exceed expectations with all of our services, which
include: Communications Design Services, Energy Distribution Services, Utility
Pole Inspection, and Environmental Services.

Responsibilities:

Completion of Utility Plan sets
Generate land base prints in AutoCAD for use in the field
Completion of Utility Plan sets in AutoCAD for use in construction
Complete permit drawings for various permitting authorities
Compile job books upon project completion
Import/export various file types to and from AutoCAD
Responsible for taking field notes, utilizing GPS, and completing plan
design for new and existing power and communication facilities

Requirements:

The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Applicants must be detail-orientated and have the ability to multi-task
Ability to utilize Microsoft Office and learn new software
Experience with AutoCAD
Ability to handle more than one project at a time and to meet deadlines
Overnight Travel may be required for the completion of job duties
Valid drivers license
