Duties and Responsibilities
Utilize Computer Aided Design and various software to prepare drawings and detailed plans for mechanical and plumbing systems.
Assist the CAD/BIM Department with CAD support, 3D solid modeling, project set-up, department standards, drawing templates, and fabrication specific processes.
Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines in a virtual construction model.
Support workflow throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist the CAD/BIM Department with general CAD support, 3D modeling, Installation and Fabrication Drawings.
Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines in a virtual construction model.
Support workflow throughout the BIM lifecycle.
Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge of mechanical, piping systems, HVAC, electrical, and equipment in large industrial and government process facilities.
Proficient in Revit, Fabrication MEP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Navisworks
Education and Experience
CAD Training, schooling, or at least two plus years of experience in the AutoCAD and drafting industry required.
Knowledge of mechanical, piping systems, HVAC, electrical, and equipment in large industrial and government process facilities.
