Responsible for new styles, primary and secondary cover setup. Naming patterns, and zoning patterns during marker creation.
Maintain COM and cover categories in Oracle and clear BOM Usage Errors. Responsible for assigning thread colors to covers and updating the information in Oracle.
Correct and/or manipulate current patterns and styles for any errors/changes/etc. Set up and maintain style BOMs for primary and secondary materials.
Cut patterns for customer service and other projects. Work on special requests for customers. Handle special projects given that pertain to cutting test cloths/leather and/or nesting. Train and oversee the cutting of matched materials (match point).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
2 years' experience with pattern making and relative software packages (Cut Works, AutoCAD, etc). 2 years' experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, etc). Excellent verbal and written communication. Knowledge of manufacturing principles and methods. Self-motivated and must have excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Availability to perform other tasks and be cross-trained in Engineering processes. Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.
