Cad Technician

Description:

Proficient interpersonal skills to work effectively as part of an integrated team in a small office environment.

Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong work ethic and readiness to accept responsibility.

Proficient with computers and software, to include AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.

Critical thinking and observation skills. Education, Certifications and Experience.

CAD Technician / Designer: Minimum 2-4 years of experience working in a civil engineering related drafting position preferred.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred over other CAD software applications. Basic knowledge of math and geometry. Minimum responsibilities for the CAD Technician / Designer position include but are not limited to.

Computer drafting and preparation of civil construction documents.

Preparing permit submittal documents.

Frequent phone and email communication with clients, engineers, sub-consultants, and government personnel.
