Work with teams of engineers, designers, and drafters to define CAD software requirements and develop best practices. Main job functions include software configuration, customization, development, installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, user support, training, and project planning.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with software customization, installation, upgrades, and production CAD support

  • Develop automated design processes, configure the CAD environment, gather user feedback, and document CAD best practices as well as develop, implement and enforce CAD Standards

  • Analyze and resolve problems associated with Engineering and CAD software applications and high performance computer hardware

  • Develop technical system documentation for current and newly implemented systems

  • Project identification, definition, analysis of data, developing potential solutions, comparison of benefits, and implementation of the best alternative

  • Work with and for team members on the intent to increase overall efficiency within the engineering organization

  • Proactively seek out additional tasks and responsibilities that will aid the engineering staff in performing their jobs

  • Analyze and facilitate the development of improved engineering concepts

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science or Associate's degree in Computer Aided Design Technology, Information Systems, or other related field required

  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks, and AutoCAD

  • Additional knowledge of SolidWorks PDM, Pro/E (Creo), Inventor, NX, and MathCAD preferred

  • Proficient with learning new software at an accelerated pace

  • Able to multi-task and coordinate/manage various projects

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to gather necessary information to make educated decisions

  • Can work independently as well as in a team environment

The Sr. Systems Administrator will also work closely with the Network administrator and IT team to maintain systems as required maintaining our HIPAA compliance. Essential Duties: * Systems administration * Perform system and network administration duties for virtualize datacenter * Management of storage infrastructure * Capacity planning for virtual machines and storage * Assist with planning and implementing DR solution * Provide escalation assistance to helpdesk on application level issues * On-going maintenance of all server operating systems * Monitor and maintain backup structure * Monitor system performance and assist with troubleshooting * Maintain AppSense profile management resources * Provide assistance to business units on special project and deployments * Backup administration assistance with all network devices * Perform Exchange system administration * Maintain systems appliance inventory in Archer and other applications * Maintain systems diagrams * Maintain server rooms at all locations * Printer Management * Must document all changes and procedures * Perform IT Risk Assessments and IT/Business Impact Assessments * Archer experience a plus Required Skills * 5+ years of systems administration * Required Skills: Exchange, VMWare vSphere, Active Directory, Veeam, SAN * Preferred Skills: Appsense, Citrix, VMWare Horizon View, Microsoft RDSH, Cisco UCS, Hyperconverged technology like Nutanix * Preferred: CCNA, MCP, MCSE, MCSA * Strong written and oral communication skills * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required * Ability to present ideas in user-friendly and non-technical language * Highly self motivated and directed * Highly positive attitude * Keen attention to detail * Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment * Strong customer service orientation * Ability to effectively communicate directly with stakeholders * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Required Experience Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.
