The CAD Specialist is responsible for generating and maintaining CAD based plans for an assigned group of shopping centers, producing lease outline drawings and leasing plans. This position interacts with department staff as well as others within the company and outside contacts.
Manage and maintain computer files & folders to company standards
Maintain accurate mall lease and site plans for Operating Centers
Create lease outline drawings and advise leasing with most effective layout
Calculate accurate Tenant square footages and dimensions
Assemble files to complete tenant information packages
Provide support to Tenant architects and consultants when required
Provide support for redevelopment projects when assigned
Other duties as assigned
Associate's degree in Architecture, or related field, preferred
1-2 years of experience in space planning, preferred
Thorough knowledge of construction document production and coordination
Proficient in computer systems, AutoCAD, MS windows and electronic drawing standards
Drafting skills with practical understanding of architectural practices required
Knowledge of graphic programs a plus
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are essential
