We are looking for a CAD Specialist to come join the 4Wall team!

What you will be doing: While every day is different at 4Wall, you will be responsible for designing electrical wiring diagrams (including data and power distribution wiring diagrams and technical details), facility impact drawings (including fixture layout, data, low voltage and/or high voltage paths), custom manufactured elements (may include lighting fixtures, electrical distribution boxes and scenic displays/components), sketches, renderings and visualizations.

What you bring to the table: Our ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of CAD-based software with emphasis in AutoCAD (both 2D and 3D solid modeling), experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) with emphasis in Revit, ability to read orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) designs and supplier/manufacturer drawings, and proven written and verbal communication skills, math skills, and ability to meet deadlines and goals.

Check your email regularly for information regarding our employment process. text The CAD Operator is responsible for creating AutoCAD designs for event layouts. This includes but it not limited to accurate plans for lighting, staging, seat layout and sightlines. Additionally, this position assists with all projects and performs a variety of administrative tasks which support the department. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the Clark County Fire Department code for fire protection and departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures. * Communicate effectively with Fire Department officials to determine safe egress and proper flow of crowds through the venue. * Interaction with clients to assure usage of function space within guidelines. * Work with management proactively to lay out show on CAD to maximize seating and event flow while still keeping all attendees safe. * Troubleshoot CAD computer problems and act as ARIA AutoCAD systems analyst. * Coordinates the relationship with Clark County Fire Department representatives as it pertains to diagram approvals. * Processes all fees incurred by customers for CAD drawings and submittals and ensures correct billing to clients when applicable. * Updates and completes re-submittals due to change in counts and revisions. * Assures Managers are in compliance with all CCFD code. * Trains on CCFD code and functionality of meeting room sets and design. * Prepares and types documents in rough and final form, including correspondence, forms, reports, charts, etc ensuring accuracy of work. * Maintains department records, establishes files, answers multi-line phones while taking detailed, accurate messages, takes initiative to resolve problems and provides information requested. * Schedules meeting requests, appointments and maintains calendars. * Maintains inventory of office supplies and completes purchases requisitions when needed. * Maintains confidentiality with all subject matter. * Assists withn administering time editing and payroll resolutions. * Perform all other job related duties as requested. Required: * At least 2 years of experience in CAD operation and/or Social Table experience. * Ability to read and evaluate written material. * Working knowledge of Clark County Fire Code – NFPA101 and the National Fire Codes and OSHA Safety Codes as they pertain to public assemblies and public assembly venues * Working knowledge of CAD plotting systems, computer CAD programs, as well as conversion of other CAD type systems. * Excellent customer service skills. * Able to lead and mentor a team. * Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts. * Professional appearance and demeanor. * Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Working knowledge of computer software to include MS Word, Excel, Outlook. * Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
