· Looking for candidates with Fire Alarm and Electrical Engineering experience.
· Must be proficient in AutoCAD (version 2014 or higher).
· Must be proficient using Windows based software and MS office 2000 or higher (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
· Must have strong organizational skills.
· Someone with a little bit of experience in the Construction Field.
· More along with electrical or mechanical construction, not electronic board layouts.
· Under supervision, prepare construction drawings required to support the installation of electronic special systems (fire alarm, security, access control, and other low voltage specialty systems)
· Prepare submittal documentation (i.e.,. data sheets, battery calculations)
· Maintain project drawing files, and associated records and documentation tracking & maintaining as-built drawings
· Resumes need to be well constructed, accurate, spell checked, etc. which shows attention to detail with the desire to do a good job. It shows that the candidates care about what they put their name on.

VIEW JOBS 8/8/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-11-06T00:00 INTERNAL APPLICANTS PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION IS A PART TIME POSITION This position operates a midsized bus for the City following established routes and schedules. May transport City officials and provide support transportation for other city departments, and other internal and external entities and organizations. This position reports to the Transit Supervisor, or designee. Position Duties and Responsibilities ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Drives and operates bus to transport residents to and from program activities. Drives handicapped-accessible bus for fixed and non-fixed passenger routes. Assists handicapped and senior passengers in embarking and disembarking vehicles. Makes deliveries and pick-ups as required. Transports department program participants, City officials, residents and guests, etc. as required for various events. Per regulations performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicles. Maintains various logs, checklists, and completes all required documentation. Performs general office work as required, including but not limited to answering the telephone and two-way radio, etc. Operates general office equipment as necessary. Assists in program activities as required. Interacts and communicates with immediate supervisor, other departmental supervisors and employees, other City personnel, clients/passengers, and the general public. Maintains fueling and cleaning of transportation vehicles and reports problems to supervisor. Will be required to perform job responsibilities as assigned both pre and post disaster situations. Will be required to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs general housekeeping and light maintenance work as required. Performs additional duties as assigned as they relate to meeting departmental needs. Position Requirements/Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by two (2) years of CDL passenger driving experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess a valid state class "B" CDL driver's license with passenger endorsement, and an approved Florida Department of Transportation Medical Examination Report for Bus Transit System Driver. Must obtain First Aid and CPR certifications. Employee will be subjected to a level I and level II background screening, and random drug and alcohol testing. Bilingual preferred. It is the responsibility of the candidate to maintain their licenses and/or certifications as a job requirement. Emergency Management Responsibilities: Note: During emergency conditions, all City of Miramar employees are automatically considered emergency service workers. City of Miramar employees are subject to being called to work in the event of a disaster, such as a hurricane, or other emergency situation and are expected to perform emergency service duties, as assigned.
