CAD Layout Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with design engineers to prepare IC layouts for tapeout on one or more of: SiGe, CMOS, SOI, GaAs, GaN.

• Cell and Chip level schematic entry, IC layout, and verification (LVS, DRC, ERC) for RFICs.

• Floorplan, chip layout, routing and verification and support/assist in tapeout.

• Create documentation and training materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.

• 5+ years of professional experience

• Relevant experience and a willingness to learn is necessary.

• Experience with CAD tools such as Keysight ADS; Cadence Virtuoso, AWR; Mentor Graphics, Calibre

• Experience with: Linux and Windows computer systems.

• Linux shell scripts, Skill, AMPLE, Perl, Python is a plus.

• Candidate must be self-driven, and detail-oriented

• Proven capability to work both independently and on a team.
