CAD Drafter

Piper Companies is seeking a CAD Drafter for a leading consulting engineering firm in the Baltimore, MD area.

Responsibilities of the CAD Drafter:

• Design and draw blueprint drawings, floor plans and other mechanical related drawings

• Create technical drawings & use CAD programs

• Work cross functionally with structural engineers, contractors and architects to effectively design drawings of buildings

• Construct technical drawings of all interior spaces which includes doors, staircases, walls, etc.

Qualifications of the CAD Drafter:

• Experience using CAD or BIM programs

• Knowledge of federal, state & local building codes

• Prior experience working in engineering/construction industry drafting floor plans, interior spaces (walls, staircases, doors, etc)

Compensation of the CAD Drafter:

• Between $22.00 - $25.00 per hour based on years of experience
