CAD DRAFTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Pay Rate to Contractor: 24.75

Daily Schedule: 8-5 M-F preferrable Typically work from home Monday and Friday

Summary This role provides support to engineering within Distribution Scada Automation and interacts with various other engineering and operations groups. SCADA Automation is responsible for the oversight of the Distribution Automation system and the Distribution SCADA system.

This includes the fleets of automated switching communicating fault indicators and the automated capacitor control. Additionally, we assist various groups with the design and implementation of automation protection amp control and SCADA for the Downtown Networks and large commercial installations such as DFW Airport Texas Rangers Stadium and Stadium. Scada Automation provides relay settings and/or SCADA configurations that conform to Company protection philosophies to establish complete situational awareness for the DOCs and field personnel and such that when electrical faults occur, they are quickly removed from the system.

This group will also provide direct technical support to region and district Transmission amp Distribution organizations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities Directly or through others the incumbent: Assists in the maintenance support and development of the various applications and reporting systems required by the Scada Automation organization bull Supports the administration of the Scada Automation SharePoint.

Ensures accuracy completeness and reliability of data. Assists in implementing improvements and performance enhancements when necessary. Assists in creating and maintaining performance dashboards.

Supports the querying various databases for historical information used for trending and analyses. Initiates compiles and prepares various weekly/monthly/quarterly reports timely and accurately. Gathers compiles and summarizes information for various special projects and conducts special studies as required.

Assist an engineer with database cleanup and curation. Performs various data entry tasks within specific applications as well as Excel. Processes invoices maintain department files and records and other tasks as assigned Participates in various special projects assigned by the manager Remotely access grid assets to retrieve data and/or update asset firmware bull Assists in creating training materials standards documentation workflow/processes and other reference material as needed. bull Assists in tracking the status and process flow of construction projects involving Scada Automation. bull Supports continual process improvement efforts. bull Effectively manage a significant number of assignments while maintaining work quality reliability and volume.

Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.75 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
