Job Description

Pacific Stair Corporation is seeking a CAD Drafter for on-site, full time hire.

This person will read commercial building
Architectural and Structural drawings to compile 2D design/erection drawings of egress stair systems for submittal to City and Client. This person will produce fabrication drawings from the approved design/erection drawings to be fabricated by our on-site manufacturing facility. This person will work with Estimators, Project Managers, General Contractors, Architects, Engineers, Fabricators and Installers to resolve design issues related to assigned projects.

Requirements:

Experience with AutoCAD

3D CAD experience, but not required

Experience with general computer programs: Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Familiarity with steel fabrication

Familiarity with commercial construction industry

The ability to read and interpret Architectural and Structural drawings

Experience with structural steel detailing, but not required

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Scope: The Process Engineering Manager is a hands-on leadership position responsible for Anaren Ceramics' process and product development along with systemic yield improvement projects. The person selected for this role will lead a team of Process Engineers, Technicians and CAD Designers in process and product development and documentation initiatives, advanced manufacturing technology research and deployment, as well as engineering skills development. Working closely with our internal team, Vendors and Customers, this individual will lead the execution of process technology road maps and new process capability development that will meet customer demand and meet internal cost and yield targets. Technology responsibilities will include Thick Film, LTCC, Plating, Etching, Soldering, Ceramic machining and Assembly. Driving continuous innovation in process technologies which provide Anaren Ceramics differentiation in capability, operational performance, and cost will be a critical success measure. Duties and Responsibilities: Daily hands-on leader ship for the Engineering and CAD group to meet primary objectives: * Setting support goals and ensuring a highly responsive support structure is in place that will support both internal and external customers * Developing & executing process technology road maps that align the organization's capabilities with the long-term customer needs * Leading process innovation and continuous improvement projects * Researching process technologies and bringing new alternatives to the organization * Ensuring new products and processes are production ready and meet specific cost, quality, and performance goals * Training others (engineers, technicians, and operators) in new methods * Developing and driving best practices in terms of DFM, advanced manufacturing methods, and process controls techniques * Hire and develop leadership and technical talent * Partner with Senior staff to develop technology strategies and future state product and process goals * Create and communicate a vision of how products will be produced in the future to compete effectively within Anaren Ceramics' targeted markets * Develop, growing, and sustain a continuous improvement culture founded on TTM's values of Customer Satisfaction, Operational Excellence, Innovation, Leadership, Teamwork, and Integrity * Define and implement best practices to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all environmental regulations and standards with regard to material handling and proper chemical waste disposal * Interface with customers and key suppliers (occasional travel may be necessary) * Comply with and support all company policies and procedures including, equal opportunity employment practices, OSHA safety requirements and the ethical business practices policy * Perform other duties as assigned Essential Knowledge and Skills: * Broad technical knowledge of Thick Film, LTCC and / or Thin Film circuit manufacturing processes * Strategic planning, setting and communicating future state visions, and challenging the status quo * Extensive experience in Lean and / or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodology * Effective collaboration with various engineering functions, customers, and suppliers * Compelling communication skills * Disciplined in project management and process development * Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment * Proven experience and ability to implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Proficiency with MS Office and MRP systems Education and Experience: Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering; Masters Degree preferred Experience: Minimum of 10 years in an electronics or printed circuit manufacturing environment with 3-5 years of new process development Export Statement: Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
