It is the responsibility of the Junior Cabana Host to assist the Senior Cabana Host and drive cabana and pool rental sales out at the pool. The Jr. Cabana Host will act as the host to our entire rental product and be required to continuously check in with guests throughout the day to ensure satisfaction and assist with requests as needed. Additionally, Jr. Cabana Hosts will act as greeters at our entrance podium/kiosk for all pool guests, escort guests upon arrival to the location of the rental and provide an orientation to the guest's cabana, and pool amenities. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Attend pre-shift meetings.
Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines
Responsible for welcoming all pool guests at the front entrance of the pool and ensuring room keys are presented and no glass is entering the pool area
Responsible for welcoming guest to the pool as well as escorting guests to cabanas and daybeds
Assist Ambassadors and Pool management with reservations and special events.
Responsible for gathering relative information for future telemarketing efforts.
Responsible for interacting and ensuring guests are having a great experience.
Must be able to establish and maintain good and proper relationships with hotel visitors and market the Golden Nugget Pool and other venues to all guests.
Must be social and have an outgoing personality while maintaining relationships within the department, as well as around the city.
Must have ability to communicate via Email as well as over the phone.
