Define, document, and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables using industry-standard project management methodologies
Review and identify project scope with deliverables, and track project milestones to ensure timely completion
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential project disruptions
Review and analyze training, logistics, and site implementation plan documentation, providing inputs and recommendations to 480 ISRW A6 leadership
Provide oversight for A6 IT projects and coordinate, monitor, and provide status updates on briefings, meetings, daily reports, and the progress of C4I installation efforts
Attend operations meetings to maintain situational awareness of mission tempo and project impact
Develop, review, and manage change requests to ensure that modifications to project scope and schedule are fully documented and approved
Draft, clarify customer requirements, edit, and submit modification proposals, ensuring traceability until resolution
Draft, review, coordinate edits, and submit communications-computer systems requirements with appropriate outside agencies
Coordinate weekly integration meetings and briefings; provide and distribute meeting minutes and action items
Provide oversight support of all C4I IT systems and network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with project specifications
Provide support in defining and coordinating cloud requirements for systems and applications, ensuring alignment with overall strategy
Maintain the status of 480 ISRW cloud initiatives, including the review, creation, and tracking of the migration of applications into the cloud. Align cloud implementation plans with 480 ISRW A6 initiatives.
Maintain currency of cloud onboarding processes, procedures, organizations, and resources to support ongoing cloud transformation
Monitor and review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Memorandum of Agreements (MOAs) to ensure the best interests of 480 ISRW units are accurately and efficiently represented
Actively participate in teleconferences, briefings, demonstrations, working groups, technical meetings, operations meetings, design reviews, and requirements boards to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines
Contribute to the assessment of existing and future facility requirements, recommending enhancements that optimize IT operations and infrastructure
Review and provide feedback on security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Air Force information and security policies and directives
Apply agile project management principles to manage tasks effectively, enabling iterative progress and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Eight years of general IT and/or network experience
Highly proficient in MS Office suite of tools, including advanced skills in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent).
Exhibit managerial qualities:
Effectively communicate in verbal and written formats
Work unsupervised, independently, or as part of a team
Multi-task among numerous projects
Demonstration of understanding of commercial cloud initiatives and capabilities
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related discipline (e.g., System/Network Management)
At least three years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects involving the integration of IT services, technology, network infrastructure, and software across multiple security networks
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
